Xmsgd is a package of programs used to graphically show informative messages.
It's a simple daemon which displays graphical messages (an icon and a line of text, in this case) in the upper layer of your X display. The messages are transparent and can be configured in a number of ways. A sample front-end daemon and client are provided as well. |
