  1. But Pulseaudio is perfect! It must be Alsa’s fault. Or the drivers’ fault. Or faeries hiding somewhere!

  2. No wonder, that is why half the users live without it (disabling it in asound.conf and so on)
    I do not consider it ‘normal’ to have 10 and more percent of my CPU dedicated to sound, while alsa directly it always less than 1%
